Georgia and Gabe are one of the most relaxed couples I have ever met.
With only a couple of weeks away from their wedding, they are taking it all easy, enjoying the process and having fun with each other. They aim for a nice party with family and friends who, as they told me, have a very similar approach. Can’t wait!
They live around Churchill Park therefore, even though we originally thought of going to the Brickworks, it made more sense to have some photographs taken at the park. Which I also happen to live close to and love. Every time I go there for a creative project I am amazed at the way I can see it with fresh eyes. This gives me much joy and sparks my inspiration.
The session was a lot of fun and they really were up to anything. We shared some good laughs which made it all even more pleasurable.
Georgia and Gabe, so happy to have met you and I look forward to seeing you again soon on your wedding day!
These wonderful people are getting married at the end of the month. We met a few weeks ago to do an engagement shoot in the Harbourfront area. Fun, relaxed, just the way I like it.
I am always very inspired when around such energy. Claudia and Thomas are a beautiful young couple with a lot to say to each other and to my camera. I am sure the photos below make this statement quite obvious. I am grateful to have crossed paths with them and I look forward to the opportunity to spending more time together on their big day.
Hugs to both, M.
Hanna and Matt are a fun loving, modern couple with a taste for Toronto’s urban landscape. They are also very fashionable and I could tell right away they would photograph extremely well. I simply loved their choice of colours for our downtown shoot. Hanna looked vibrant in her beautiful blue dress while Matt complemented her so well with his muted blue and grey tones he chose for his own outfit. We walked around King street and stopped in some of the most suitable spots for this image collection. We aimed for a bit of nature, textures and lots of colours, while also stumbling upon some unexpected rugged, super photogenic corners.
Hanna and Matt, hope you will smile while recalling our adventure through the photos below. I look forward to seeing you at your wedding soon!
Kathryn & Duncan are getting married this weekend, I can’t believe how fast time goes by. They wanted to get an urban feel for their engagement photos, so I figured Union Station may be a great starting point for something like this. I thought of how beautifully the light falls in between the tall columns, while also keeping the nearby buildings in mind. But again, I was surprised with the little finds along the way. As we were moving around I noticed mirrors and shiny marble surfaces that sparked the imagination and playfulness. Guys, thank you for being so great, spontaneous and relaxed, I am sure your wedding day will simply be fantastic and fun filled! See you in a bit! Hug, Manuela
Jen and Ben are two lovely people with an interesting life story. After a few years spent in Liverpool, they are now looking to settling down in Canada. Their wedding will be held in August at the quaint Hernder Estates Winery, Niagara. We got to spend a couple of hours on a borderline rainy day and we had a lot of fun in spite of the random drops falling from the grey sky. From my perspective it was heaven because as we all know, such days offer the most incredible even light. Taking wrong exits and sometimes going in circles, we accidentally discovered magic spots that made for interesting backdrops. It so happens whenever we allow it. Relaxed, fun, spontaneous and truly loving, this is who they are and I hope I captured their character the closest possible.
Dear Jen and Ben, thank you for a great time and I very much look forward to more this summer!
