Cath and Matt got married in March of 2007. They had a beautiful celebration at the Eglinton Grand. In spite of the cold, the snow and the fact that that all girls were wearing sandals, we still managed to get some fun shots of the wedding party releasing red balloons!
A bit over 2.5 yrs later, I was introduced to baby Henry who is simply adorable. It is always with so much joy that I photograph babies born to couples whose weddings I ahad the opportunity to witness. I become a part of their lives, I get to share their most important events, what a privilege! Whenever I am around cute little creatures like baby Henry, time just goes by, I get to play, connect and capture expressions that sometimes last on their sweet faces for one split second only.
Cath and Matt, congratulations again on your new family and may your first Christmas together be filled with joy and fun!
I love to travel! But who doesn’t, really? One of the amazing benefits of being a wedding photographer is the chance to follow the couple wherever they decide to exchange their vows. Be it in Toronto or anywhere else in Canada and the globe. I was thrilled when Annie and Daryl told me they decided to have a beach ceremony in the Mayan Riviera, Mexico. Therefore, I packed my camera and followed them to this paradise location which is the Grand Sunset Princess resort. How can one not be inspired when all the eye can see is sunshine, turqoise water, white sand? Not to mention being around a group of extremely fun people willing to have tons of laughter and share some unforgettable moments together!!
From the little tea ceremony to the amazing beach party fabulously organized, I have witnessed the magic in their day and enjoyed every second as it unfolded! All I can say is that I was truly thrilled to be there. After not feeling my feet anymore from the beach walking and dancing (of course I got to do a bit of that, too!), I managed to rest until we met again next afternoon for an extremely cool and relaxed ‘trash the dress’ session. Please stay tuned, more to come!
Thank you again dear Annie and Daryl, your families and friends for offering me this amazing experience! Have a great time in Hawaii!
Blanca & Ryan will get married in May of next year. Again we chose fall with its colourful palette and the beautiful, gentle light. They are such a fun couple to be around and photograph: they make each other laugh non stop, they are playful, nonchalant, my camera just loved them! The day was simply magic, all elements in place, I could not have asked for a better decor and a greater variety of shooting spots. All in all, the vibrant collection of images we got will make for an amazing guest signing book at their wedding, which I very much look forward to shoot. It will take place in Jordan Niagara at the Inn on the Twenty, one of my favorite locations. I can’t wait!
